Upper Aero Conditions

And here's a look at Granite from the top of Glacier if anyone's headed that way. The SW couloir still has a lot of snow in it, as of July 30.

How is the trail to Aero lakes? Is it relatively clear? I was thinking about heading up there is weekend. Any info would be appreciated.

If you decide to go, can you let me know how it looks up there? I'm planning on climbing the SW Couloir of Granite at the end of the month.

We took the climber's trail up Sky Top Creek, which I highly recommend. Ran into snow at Lone Elk Lake, but could be clear up to Sky Top lakes now. Lower Aero still had some snow patches, but I don't know about heartbreak hill, etc. below the lake. Upper Aero had a fair amount of snow...
