I didn't mean to sidetrack the thread with a discussion on bludging, but I must say, I've never heard it used to describe a pimp.

For the record, Emmieuk, the term is rarely used in a truly derogatory way these days - it's more likely something you'd say to a mate that turns up late to the pub.
