I think it's just one of those common names, like Springfield. Can you put replica jam on toast?

I love how much work they're putting into it... soon to be gone like a fart in the wind!

DUST in the wind would be a bit more romantic, with the electric violin and all. I think two more just joined the club.

It definitely smells of fart. Over 40 profiles now! haha Nothing like the combination of persistence and stupidity. It's always fun to watch!

I suppose it's time for someone to make mention of it in "people needing deletion" ... I guess that someone will be me.

I deleted 30 of them - but without an elf tool for mass deletion, I'm afraid this will take forever.

Sent an email this morning. I've deleted about 60, but there are dozens more, maybe hundreds.

Although captchas help prevent spam, I think another method for blocking it could be implemented. On my site I used to get spammers that would do invasions like summitpost (thank goodness I have a feature were I can delete 30+ in a few clicks). :) So I came up with a new system rather than a captchas which my system is basically a "passphrase" in order to register. So here is the demo:
http://www.hikrs.com/component/comprofiler/registers

(yes, my site is still in beta testing) 8) It is more effective in my case!

Another method I've seen on other sites is a capchas that have super easy math problems. The text version unfortunately some bots seem to be able to get around the system. I couldn't imagine that a person for some company is manually going to summitpost in expectations for there spam to work.

Is hikrs the new SP? I notice at least a couple of spam members in your members list...

Well in a sense. I started this project ever since I "left" SP a long time ago, but didn't really get active with it until more recent times. This project is actually the #1 reason I have not been posting lately. Website making is time consuming when you have to manually do stuff. As for the spam, already taken care of. 8) (for those who did not see it, it was only 10 or so spammers which were generated over a month's time which is much less than mbpost and sp) But then again SP is kinda famous. But also keep in mind some of those members appeared before I reinstalled the spam blocker.
