great evening shotI love high bivouacing most, so those moments are the best, just after golden (and cold...) sunrises.

Re: great evening shotReally ? Honestly speaking, maybe my opinion is connected with my beloved place in the mountains where sunrises are so spectacular and where sunset can't be seen, hmmm I don't know, maybe that is why I saw so many sunsets everywhere and in so different conditions and usually when I get up day by day I don't see sun rising, so that's quite rare occasion. No doubt it's great feeling to fall asleep with the mountains and listen to all those incredible sounds hanging somewhere in perfect silence...I remember further in the past when I was alone somewehere high there in the night it was quite thrilling, now I got used to that, but it's always so admirable!

Re: great evening shotI would say that sunsets are always nicer because the air is charged with dust which make rays more colorful; on the other hand it's more difficult to observe them as the mountain weather tend to be clear in the morning while clouds form in the afternoon and often don't disappear enough for the sunset...
