He was forced to climb continously grade V+ without any protection...

Re: Bravo !Thank you Borut, it is a really looong and unprotected route, in addition with an also very long descent over the whole Mangart ridge.The ferrata Via della Vita was closed at that time.

Re: Bravo !Istvan, have you heard about the legendary 1983 winter solo ascent of this route by the non less legendary Renato Casarotto? It took him ten days (very bad weather, constantly snowing)! I can just imagine him chewing at his shoelaces by the ninth night LOL
