Pickens Spur

The view in 2006 and before the Station Fire looking back at Pickens Spur from near the summit of Mount Lukens. The Crescenta View Trail originates from Dunsmore Canyon (Flat white spot far right) and ascends the spur via a heavily switchbacked trail. Once topped out the trail follows the ridgeline eventually meeting the fire road leading to the the summit. Climbing the spur you will gain approximately 2100 feet of the total 2800 feet of elevation gain to the summit.
