Pinatubo: Entering rough country

The trail disappears and we follow the guide along the river. To bypass rapids and gorges we had to scramble and bushwhack along the riverbank. At this point in the journey, we could smell some sulfur leaking from the earth proving that Pinatubo is still geothermally active.
