Pinnacle and Crux

Bypassing this pinnacle is the crux of the route. Stay to the right on loose, exposed, Class 3/4 terrain. If the going is too sketchy, you can descend steep, rocky ground to the basin below, but that will likely mean abandoning the rest of the traverse. After this part, it is just a scenic ridge walk.
