Pitch 1:

Pitch 1:

Thumb Peak: Happy New Year The route is well protected with bolts including the crux of the first pitch (pictured). I climbed the entire route with 10 draws although I did some back cleaning to reduce rope drag. The final pitch is considered the technical crux, though the flaring chimney was perhaps the best part of the whole route. The route has a good variety of climbing with steep faces and a couple roofs. The approach is about 1 minute from the road and offers great views. If you start after 2pm the whole route should be in the shade!
