Plinth Peak

Plinth Peak was the most recent volcano to erupt in the Garibaldi Volcanic belt some 2300 years ago, spewing ash as far east as Edmonton. It is composed of rotten pumice and may explain why it has only been climbed twice via the north face, seen here. The 2677m (8783') mountain belongs to a group of summits in the Meager Volcanic Complex situated southeast of Upper Lillooet Provincial Park in B.C's Coast Mountains.
