That's the trail I used a few years ago to get to the pool to go swimming, and where I watched a family jumping into the river from near the top of the falls (I posted photos here at Summitpost to prove it). Craziest bunch of jerks I've ever seen.
Saw that. Funny story, kind of. It must have been a lot of fun, but jumping from that height into a waterfall plunge pool is pretty stupid. Just the currents can pin a person and drown him.
The scariest thing about it was how small the target area was. Andy deviation at all and it was instant death. At one point the dad turned to me and said, "You probably think we're crazy." Yep, I did.
