| Hiked up the steep meadow route/scramble on a moderate-weather day; with some snow still in the environs. A number of hikers on the mountain that day. Hiked back down the jeep road. | |

| Had the best day exploring these peaks. Started by the Patagonia outlet, hiked up, crossed the ditch, bore left, and just kept climbing. If you have the time and inclination, you can explore this area for hours. Made gigantic loop out of it, traversed the meadow and wound up on Hunter Creek trail. Spent about 5.5 hours, well worth it. Probably one of the last times to be able to this year due to snake issues. | |
