
| For something that's not that far from a road mileage-wise, it feels very remote. Chalk it up to the off-trail portion that climbs over 3000' in little more than a mile. Want solitude and views? You get them up here.
The bushwhacking heading up wasn't too bad or too long, but the way down, which was from Mill Point West (very scenic and interesting traverse between the summits), was a different story, especially as we got closer to the trail. Still, there aren't many other places where you can get this much sense of isolation without packing miles into the wilderness. |
