Nice page. Nice 'summit'. I'm glad you finally got down there.
You might note that there is a nice, well-marked trail from the AT. This stretch of AT between Pine Grove Furnace SP and Pole Steeple also holds the distinction of being the exact mid-point of the whole 2200 miles of Trail. There is a large sign and log book.
Thanks Charles for the nice comments and also for adding those fine pictures. We didn't have time to go down to the mid-point but I'm going down again on the 27th to do Pole Steeple and Sunset Rocks so I'll be sure we get there this time. Also......now I've posted some pictures if you want to check them out! There are a lot more coming because my other roll's not back yet. Thanks again Charles and have a good one!
I remember the days of waiting for film to come back, scanning it in and having the results be kind of mediocre. Man, you really need a digital camera! Any chance Santa's gonna bring you one? My personal rec. is a Canon Powershot A* series camera. The A75 is under $200 now and takes quite good photos.
Thanks Charles! I do know exactly what you're talking about. I'm satisfied with the pictures for now cuz they're not terrible, but I do want a digital camera. Actually, it's funny you mentioned it because I did ask santa for a digital camera! LOL!
There is plenty of cragging around the area to fill your little hearts desire! LOL! But yes, thankyou for the kind vote and the comments. You have a good one!
Thanks so much for the kind words and vote! It is a must visit place if you're in the area and it's also a really short hike. If you're going to be in the area let me know and maybe we can meet and take a hike somewhere. Thanks again for the nice words and have a good one!
Thanks so much for the kind words and the vote. I also wish you and your family a very merry christmas as well Dean. Thanks so much and you have a good one!
