| Climbed this with Alan Meachum and my 4 month old Chocolate Lab, whom I named after this peak, "Porter." These were their first High Peaks unfortunately the views were non-existant, yet being in the clouds with so little visibility made this an exciting experience anyways. My pup did excellent for his first peaks... Alan did great too, pumping him up for his next 44! | |

| This was my 2nd High Peak, done in the same day as Cascade. Weather was pretty bad, so no views but the mist and fog that surrounded us was beautiful none the less. | ||

| Views were nice, but the summit is not as open as Cascade. Would definitely suggest bagging both while you're up there, its not much of a jump from one to the other. It was cold, but the trees helped with some of the wind. | |

| Hit this one before Cascade. Lost of bugs, but nice location. If you're fit you can do this and Cascade in 2.5 hours R/T from the road. | |

| My third and my wife's second high peak. A bit disappointing after hitting Cascade a few minutes earlier. My advice is do Porter first, and then Cascade. I love hillman's entry by the way. Funny stuff. | |

| I climbed Cascade with my Dad; then he waited at the trail junction while I ran over and 'begged' Porter as well. A nearby thundershower made me a bit nervous but it eventually passed without even getting us wet. A rewarding and easy hike! | |

| A nice alternative to the ant hill that Cascade usually turns into late in the day. We started at 10:00 and we were down at 14:00 there were 50+ parties that registed for Cascade after we signed in and 20 before us and they were still comming. The Dacks are just getting too popular. Anyway it was my daughter's 3rd high peak and about my 6th time up that peak. I find the view better than Cascade. | |

| The only thing that makes this summit worth the time is that is counts as one of the 46 High Peaks. Mostly tree covered with a few view toward Cascade. | |
