Povnova dolina

This is a view of one characteristic feature in the north face of Kočna, almost 1500 m high. The steep valley is called "Povnova dolina", which means "Noon valley". Even if it looks fine, you need to consider that the 2012/13 winter was very rich with snow. We are on April 13 and the whole north face is still deeply covered with snow. Povnova dolina is a hard alpinistic ski tour. On this picture the bottom part is not shown, and there is an almost vertical, high rocky step, which needs to be detoured.
