Prag Route

This is the view across Vrata valley on the part of Triglav North Face, where it ends on the easte and blends with the north walls of Begunjski vrh and Cmir. In this part the more than 10 km wide rock face is less steep and there's where hunters found their first routes over it. Today the marked path Čez Prag (Prag Route, 'Over the Rock Step') goes. It is clearly seen on this picture and can be followed from its entry in the walls till its exit on the scree slopes below the vertical wall of Begunjski vrh (the summit in the middle). July, 2015.
