"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Untitled CommentI realize that this is a work in progress but there is already lots of work put in here. I will be interested in seeing it complete with some images. Good work you are doing. Cheers William

Untitled CommentThanks for the vote and the correction. Somehow I always had the impression it had been Karavanke. Could have mentioned Sardinia - but I did this exactly to come off this drug. At least for some short time ;-)

Untitled CommentThanks for the vote! Amazed? It goes like this: grab a glass of wine (maybe two), a map all your books, have a look at the map and do a list of the mountains you see. Now suck a little on your thumb, eh voilĂ - the overview sections. And now starts the part that always amazes me - do some research using google, list it, done.
What am I amazed about? Look at this page. Also free and listing all alpine huts and refuges with their respective quotes on the web (SP's in there, too). Never mind it's in German, you'll get by.
It just takes a little patience. But for me it's fun
Cheers

Untitled CommentFinally I'm done with the map for the Prags Dolomites. Have a look, but please don't complain that it is so full! It was quite difficult to get all the info on there . You might also want to look at the Sexten Dolomites page where I have included maps for each subgroup.
Cheers
