Is that the Fair Glacier?

The photo might be better suited on the Apache Peak page. If it is Fair, that's a nice shot of it.

Re: Is that the Fair Glacier?

Sorry, but I was under the impression that the Fair Glacier was a route for Apache Peak or Mount George, which has an existing page here on SP. I read that in Roach's IPW book. I have never heard of folks climbing the Fair Glacier and proceeding over Mount George, over Iroquois, over Limbo and on to Lone Eagle Peak. I think most folks just do the standard Solo Route to the summit of Lone Eagle.

Re: Is that the Fair Glacier?

Kane,

I've always started at Monarch lake than traveled up cascade creek to Triangle lake where we would set up camp and climb and ski for a week or so.

I'll look into this,

I noticed some other shots of Fair glacier on the Lone Eagle page so i thought it might fit in.....

sorry if it's in the wrong spot....

Have fun climbing this weekend...

I'm stuck @ home painting

Re: Is that the Fair Glacier?

I agree that this would be better-suited for the Apache page. Fair is categorically not a route up Lone Eagle, but it is a good, if little-used, route up Apache.
