Profitis Ilias

Summit of Profitis Ilias (567 m), the highest point of Santorini Island. There is a monastery right on top as well as an ugly military structure right next to it. But a few hundred meters away along the ridge there' s a beautiful secondary summit, peaceful and offering great views all around the island. August 2010.
