Ptarmigan Wall Goat Trail

Ptarmigan Wall Goat Trail

View in "Orig" and look closely, and you will see the goat trail that hugs the sheer cliffs. This is the narrowest section of the "main" goat trail. A slip might mean an unbroken fall of several hundred feet. This view faces north. Glacier National Park, MT-- August 2009

So Awesome

This route was the best and scariest I have ever done in Glacier.

Re: So Awesome

And by "best" you mean "scariest" and by "hike" you mean "tip toe on the ever-present edge of death".
