| I really enjoyed this mountain. The Davis Creek Road was in great shape up the east side, across the north side and then the spur along the west side. All good, pics of flowers turned out nice. Purcell Mountain Link | ||

| Dennis P. and I used the SW slope approach. Great views with Adams, Hood, St. Helens, and Rainier all front and center. We descended the east side and I would highly recommend the SW side for up and down. | ||

| Redwic | Another Summit ![]() Date Climbed: Aug 27, 2011 | |
| Another lame P2K out of the way. I kept putting this peak near the bottom of my "to do" list, but due to my broken wrist I decided to do this low-effort summit the morning after my sunset summit of nearby Huffaker Mountain the previous day. My only regret is doing this Purcell Mountain ascent mostly in the morning darkness... OK, so that is not really a regret. :-P | ||

| This was an off-trail trip with frankly few redeeming features. Except that I bagged my summit which was very satisfying after being stopped previously by the road washouts on the approach to the trail that goes up this mtn. Open views from the top | ||

| Bob Bolton | Purcell Mountain Trail ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 18, 2006 | |
| Great hike with Dean, but without the highly touted views of the volcanoes and Goat Rocks due to low-hanging clouds. Would like to return in good weather, but "so many mountains, so little time" prevails. | ||

| Dean | Purcell Mtn trail ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 18, 2006 | |
| Bob Bolton and I were stopped by a huge log on FR 63 so we stopped and found the old trail and hiked up it for our summit of Purcell Mtn. A water crossing of Davis Creek provided the main entertainment and I had fortunately stuck sandals in to facilitate our crossing. An interesting hike as the trail is slowly reverting to nature. | ||
