?????

There was a "Pyramid Couloir" page that is now gone but on the Pyramid Peak page a description. Can you tell me if your page is that route but describing a winter route? And would this photo be of your route but during the summer? thanks http://www.summitpost.org/in-the-west-chute/641462

Re: ?????

Yes, the brief description on the main page now is what I elaborated on, but for winter conditions (which means you cannot use Lyons Creek trailhead, but have to start on Hwy50). Hard to tell if the photo is from the same place... I certainly did not see any trees or shrubs in the coulour and the lakes were frozen!

Re: ?????

Thanks, so I'm assuming then that the coloir is just to the right of the face when looking up from the lake?

Re: ?????

If you mean Lake Sylvia, then no. I don't think you can see the couloir yet from there. There is another smaller, unnamed lake higher up. The couloir entrance is from the NW, not from the W - see the GPS tracks on the route page. You really can't miss it - it's a huge feature! Just keep going around the mountain.
