Only QuartzWe got a late start, conditions at the "crux" area at 3400' were not good, and it was starting to rain sooner than forecasted. As a result, we went to Quart but skipped Bessequartz. The route had some dicey spots but mostly went OK for us.

I am...one of those said NWHikers. We were able to summit both Quartz and West Quartz.

Plenty-A-BrushA bunch of NWHikers assembled to tackle Quartz and West Quartz aka "Bessequartz". The weather was predicted as mostly sunny but instead we had clouds and snow. The ridge was very brushy and we encountered a couple tricky spots before the saddle but we were still able to make it up both peaks.
