Voted 10/10 | I'm very interested which peak this is specifically as well as I think I may have also climbed it. I presume that is Whitehorn in the background? If so, is this Shifkiten Sar which is at the end of Whitehorn's North Ridge? As far as I know Shifkiten Sar was first climbed by the British team in 1986 who subsequently climbed Whitehorn and then had the big disaster on the descent which you may know about. I climbed Shifkiten Sar in July 2006 but it was 2am when we summited so I wouldn't recognise the views. When did you climb this peak? | | Posted Dec 29, 2007 10:48 am |
