Nice family hike
Hiked with nieces from Nashville, Laura and Bob Flynn and Ben (my son) who was 4 at the time. It was great carrying an empty Kelty kid carrier since Ben had no trouble hiking the whole route uphill! Good one Ben!

Great morning hike before hopping on a plane
I would recommend this hike to anyone visiting the Denver/Boulder area for work and has some time (morning or afternoon, including travel to and from) and loves being outdoors. Its an easy hike, and the trail is well defined and maintained. Including all of the stops to take pictures of the gorgeous scenery, it only takes 2-2.5 hours if I remember correctly. There is a great overlook of the Rockies, as well as some stunning views of El Dorado Canyon and the plains beyond it to the east. Bring your camera!
