Real Wilderness

Real Wilderness

Taken from UN 10,425 above Flora Lake in the Washakie Wilderness, this view of the Absarokas and a descending storm deep in the Teton Wilderness offers a glimpse of what by some measures is the most remote terrain in the United States. Not my best picture, it nevertheless reveals to me the quintessential spirit of Yellowstone country. August 2001
