Red-Columbine Lake approach and ascent from the west.
RT-8.5 miles.
Vertical Gain-3000-ft(including optional descent route)

Yellow-Optional descent route over Point 11,831-ft

Purple-North Ridge Route from the west.

Green-North Ridge approach from the east (Arapaho Pass Trail)

It's conciderably easier to climb the North Ridge from the east by just following the Divide up from Lake Dorothy. Once you get to the ridge proper, it gets progressively harder culminating in a nifty 4th class, exposed scramble up a 30' wall. Not too hard, but definitely gets your attention.
