Red Mtn North Summit

Red Mtn North Summit

This is the north summit from the south. In the background is Polallie Ridge. Polallie is fairly level at about 400 feet lower than Red Mtn. As you can see from the photo, Polallie appears at about the same level on the horizon as the north summit. Even factoring in the curvature of the earth of this short distance as well as the six feet height of the camera over the summit because me/camera are above the south summit, the north summit still ought to appear higher than this ridge if it were as high or higher than the south summit. So this is a little bit of evidence in favor of the south summit being higher.
