I traversed the whole Rincon ridge and this is at the corner of the ridge where it turns from West to South.
I found the fastest way to get to Rincon was staying near the ridge edge. The trees were heavy under 8300 to the North, but on the ridge there were game trails that made the traverse to Rincon pretty quick. I'd suggest that route.
A pretty normal peak. Not very prominent compared to 8300, but you might as well traverse it on your way across the ridge. Rincon Peak does have a nice view of the Freeway, Rio Rancho, and a good chunk of Albuquerque...as well as the Sandias to the East.
"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."
