Chewy passed away on September 29th, 2019 after a lifetime spent roaming the Colorado, New Mexico & Wyoming Rockies with his buddy, my son Chris. He was the stubbornist and yet, one of the most endearing dogs I have ever known. Chewy loved being in the mountains with Chris and I was fortunate enough to be able to accompany them on a few trips, creating memories that we shall never forget.

He went with us for the first half of our Rawah Wilderness trip in 2010, summiting North Rawah Peak in the process https://www.summitpost.org/north-to-south-the-rawah-wilderness/678905

He was loved by many and will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Chewy was truly a mountain dog and a good friend.
