Risnjak forrests
Hiking from Medvedja vrata towards Schlosser hut we can admire the wilderness of those karst forrests. This basin seems to be a nice example of vegetation inversion. While on the higher parts there are beech forrests, due to cold air towards the bottom of the basin more and more high alpine plants can be seen - spruce, pine and in some cases on the very bottom there's only grass.
