Welcome to my work office!
All pictures taken on the job, complements of my boss's pockets.Far away from Virginia's green mountains on it's eastern seaboard, lie a vast aquatic network of rivers, streams and tidal estuaries. On a land of seemingly endless state of horizontal calm, only on the open water can one truly get a sense of grandeur.
Working on the water is the ultimate exposure to the elements. "When the going gets tough there is nowhere to hide". These photographs are a testament to the reasons why I endure the sweltering subtropical heat of the summer and subarctic winter blasts. I have been navigating these waters for nearly two decades. It will be one sad day if all of this will ever come to an end, by force or choice. I am happy to say that I can fish while I work.
