Roi du Siam is a small summit in the massive Petit Capucin, in fact, is its subsidiary summit. It offers a number of interesting routes from 200 to 250 meters, which are excellent as a warm-up for more difficult routes. Due to to the southeast exposure, the routes driess very quickly after bad weather.
In July 1952 Arturo Ottoz with G. Baume and L. Baume, made the 1st ascent of the Roi du Siam, but it is not known from where they climbed to the summit.
Easy to access from France (Chamonix) from the Aigille du Midi cable car or from Italy (Courmayeur) from the Skyway cable car.
From Aiguille du Midi - 1,5 h
From Skyway - 1 h
