| Having been chased down Piedra Llana by thick fog we intended to leave the caldera rim when finally the clouds opened up and showed a big patch of blue sky exactly as we were driving by the closed road to los Muchaachos. Parked our car and hastened up in perfect weather. Found a stonehenge like rock circle on the summit (natural though). Everything was covered in a thick rime cover. | |
