Directions to the trailhead

White Oak Creek Road can be very confusing in this area. There is a loop made by White Oak Creek Road (State Road #1155) off Highway 80. There is also a White Oak Creek Road (State Road #1157) that turns off #1155 and dead ends at White Oak Creek falls-Cascades. State road #1157 has a trail at the end (at the falls) that goes up to FS road 239, but this is not Woody Ridge. To get to the Woody Ridge Trailhead take White Oak Creek Road (#1155) to Shuford Creek Road, and then follow Shuford Creek until it dead ends at the trailhead. Fantastic climb and the fastest way to bag Celo Knob and Gibbs, which are both in the South Beyond 6K. - Malcolm Woody
