Overview

Nemisis is one the best pure ice routes in the Rockies. A nice approach on ski's, great views and amazing exposure make the climb a lot of fun. Be prepared for steep fun climbing.

Approach

Ski up the switch back from the Stanley parking lot. Once you reach the meadows continue along the valley bottom and eventually you will see the climb on the right.

Route Description

Three or four pitches of steep climbing. There is a somewhat ledge halfway up. The crux can be anywhere on the climb, often comes in easier.

Essential Gear

Lots of screws and cordelette for V-threads.
