Route Description

Once you park enter the Ski Resort and start hiking up "the Line" Ski Run. A map of the runs on the ski resort can be viewed or downloaded at TrailMap.

At about 0.7 miles into the hike you will come to a Ski Patrol cabin. Just before the cabin veer off to the left onto a little road. At the end of this road you will run into a small waterfall. Hike over this waterfall into a wash and start hiking up.

Eventually you will reach a chute. Hike up this chute.
At the top of the chute you will be 1.5 miles into the hike and at the North Loop Trail. Mt. Charleston comes into view here. Then it is only 0.2 miles to the base of Lee Peak. From here just start scrambling up the ridge to the summit. On the summit there is a cairn but there was no summit log when I was up there. Great views of Lee Canyon and the Spring Mountains can be enjoyed from the summit.

Essential Gear

Hiking Boots and maybe a pair of gloves to protect your hands from plant stickers while scrambling through the chute.

Parents

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
