Route Description

On the hardest part of south ridge. On the hardest part of south ridge.

From the parking place you must find the marked route 146 and you continue over it in the west direction through the forest and later over the grassy slopes. This route crosses in many switchbacks the south slopes of Creta di Collinetta / Cellon, 2238m. Soon you come to the first crossing where you go to the left. On the next crossing you also turn to the left and you continue following the route 146 to the grassy south ridge where you turn in the north direction and in many switchbacks you reach the next crossing with the route 171 that goes in the direction to Hohe Warte. Going up trough small ravines the partly secured warpath will take you to the wonderful green south edge of Creta di Collina, where dark and scary precipices will open on your left. This is technical the hardest part of the route. Then you continue over the easy grassy ridge to the last crossing where the route goes to Creta della Cjanevate/Kellerspitzen. You have to the summit some 5 minutes from here.

You descend by the same route.

Essential Gear
