'rappeler's left'

In the descent notes, you mention 'rappeler's left'. Is that the same as climber's left or skiier's left?

I normally rappel facing the wall so that's climber's left, right? It seems like a confusing term.

Re: 'rappeler's left'

I guess that could be confusing. Yes, 'rappeler's left' is the same as 'climber's left'. But the opposite of 'skier's left'.

Careful on the rappel.

Keep your eyes open for the rap stations, there are many to choose from but some are easy to miss. This climb will likely be one of the longest routes many have ever done and fatigue can affect you mentally as well as physically. I pulled a rock down pulling rope from the bottom of one rap to another. I yelled "rock" as my partner scrambled away and I stared at it dumbly as it bounded toward me. Fortunately it exploded into so much gravel before it reached me.

Grade II ???

Come on! I was thinking perhaps four, but at least three. Granted the approach rivals most for ease and potential luxury, but this is an all day affair for most.
