Roys Peak with vineyard

Roys Peak with vineyard

Roys Peak (1578m, highest point in the picture) seen from the very picturesque Rippon vineyard in Wanaka.
Wanaka lies at the northern end of a rapidly expanding wine producing region in Otago.

I'm getting thirsty...

...for wine and mountains just looking at your photos! Thanks, they are beautiful.

Re: I'm getting thirsty...

Thanks for the positive words! Although I'm not really a wino, this place sure was picturesque. To the right of this photo would be the snowy mountains of Mt. Aspiring National Park and a very, very blue lake. My companions are real wine freaks, and they went ecstatic, over both the wine and the vineyard!

Cheers,

Rick

Yes, I believe you! Now, if only I had a transporter room...
