Rugged San Miguels

A few rugged 13ers above Lake Hope. The two closest peaks are unnamed 13ers, while the one between them, sitting back a ways, is Grizzly Peak. The waterfalls from between the two unnamed peaks is falling down into Lake Hope. This picture is taken on our climb up to Vermilion and Beattie Peaks, while in the basin below them. As you can tell by the clouds, it is not the nicest day, yet we were still able to summit two peaks. (July 2, 2009)
