Russ McDuff crossing into...
Russ McDuff crossing into Gothic Basin after finishing the top section of
the steep approach trail. Much of the Basin is a mix of this
low vegetation, scattered boulders, and outcrops scoured clean
by past glaciers. Note Sloan Peak on the horizon, just to the right of the broadest pine tree. (Taken September 24, 2004 by Scott Veirs)
