South Ryder
After the climb of Chimney Rock, Kessler, Brian Kalet, and I set off to climb the nearby Ryder Peaks since they looked interesting from the summit of Chimney Rock. The climb of South Ryder was easy, but horribly plagued with mosquitoes! It was one of the worse mosquito infestations that I have seen (including places like Alaska, the Amazon, Yellowstone, and Southeast Asia!). We didn't spend much time on top and decided not to push on to North Ryder (Brian had climbed North Ryder previously).
