| Probably my last summit for 2012. Drove up into Cloudcroft from Carlsbad with 2 friends. There was about 5 inches of snow on the ground. We used the route described on the "getting there" page and hiked up Corral Canyon. It was beautiful in the snow! | |

| Easy pair of highspots to pick off. Nice scenery - I agree, it does look like something you'd see in PA or VA. Enjoyed walking around Cloudcroft afterwards. | |

| Living in Las Cruces I seem to forget that it actually snows in some places. After driving down some snow covered roads I was able to hike through the snow to both of the possible highpoints. | ||
