Saentis' near-vertical north face
Work with a view: north face of Säntis (2502m), from the roof of the Leica Geosystems building in Heerbrugg, Switzerland.
It is 27.23 km (19.92 mls) from the Leica Geosystems office, where I work, to the top of Säntis, where the tower is. So for this shot I picked a 150mm F2.8 macro lens.
The large yellow building in the foreground marks the old village of Altstätten, at approximately 5.7 km (3.5 mls) and an altitude of 465m.
