Saintgrizzly & MA, Snowmass, 1996
Vernon Garner and Mark Anderson, two dear climbing partners, pause during the one mile vertical climb of Snowmass' west face in 1996. Few people had climbed the route back then, and few choose to climb it today. Yet it is the most expedient, if not scenic way to climb the mountain. Siberia Peak rises ruggedly in the background. These two guys would be my partners for many years to come, and thanks to them I am the guy with the experience I have today.
