San Bernardino pass.
San Bernardino pass(2047m). At the junction of Rhine and Mesolcina valley. Switzerland.
This pass has been one of the most important route to cross the Alps from South to North since the time of the ancient Romans.
Now there is a tunnel that runs with an highway some hundreds of meters below the pass, the old road is now used only for touristic purposes.
