Ted BauerTough Hike  Sucess!
Date Climbed: May 25, 2013

Ted Bauer

3rd time I have been up this mountain, and it had to be the most difficult one. In the past I have always just did the climb in one day. This time we camped and had to a haul way too much stuff.

JeremiahJohnsonSEEING TRAILS  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Oct 13, 2013
Led a group of 10 hikers from the SEEING TRAILS HIKE GANG as an overnight backpacking trip via the South Fork Trail. We went a few days after San G received it's earliest snow fall on record and during the Government shut down. Given these obstacles, everything went very smoothly and even the completely unexperienced had no issues on the trail at all. Amazing.

PastorronHarder than Whitney in a day  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Jul 15, 2011

This was one of our last training hikes to prepare for Mt. Whitney in a day and I thought that this peak via Vivian Creek was harder than Whitney in a day. The summit was incredible, however. We got buzzed by a glider which was really cool.

Date Climbed: May 12, 2013

After tagging Dobbs, Lil' Dobbs and Jepson, might as well hit San G since it's right there. Descent via Vivian Creek was a pain, but overall the outing was awesome.

Spent a few days camping out at Dollar lake and Dry lake, made the summit on the second day. Spent the other days enjoying the beauty of the mountains.

Date Climbed: Jul 3, 2013

Rewarding day hike with Richard Rojas and Adam Marquez. 5.5 hours up and 3.5 hours down. Temperatures were rather warmish but we were still surprised to basically have the mountain to ourselves - only came across one other hiker during the first hour on the trail - nobody else the rest of the day.

Awesome hike and some amazing views on the way up the mountain. This hike got me really interested in some more challenging mountains.

pawl24 Peaks in 24 Hours  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Apr 27, 2013

Loved the day! Headed up with the intention of hitting the two Dobbs, the two Charltons, Jepson, and San Gorgonio. It was a busy day up top. Perfect weather. Truly, top-o-the-world.

I'll be doing a 24-peak solo hike in a few weeks. Some of the "peaks" are big, like San Gorgonio, some are small, like Alto Diablo. The route is 40 miles, circular (starting in Mill Creek Valley), and I plan to do it in a day. My inspiration comes from all the folks who've done the 9-peak traverse, Ze's 11-peak loop, Rick Kent's 17-peaker, and mostly Evan Welsh's 18-peak double ridgeline route. It's doubling as a fundraiser for The Wildlands Conservancy (Galena Peak, Wilshire Peak, Bear Paw Preserve, etc).

orbitorSnow Climb via North Face  Sucess!
Date Climbed: Feb 16, 2013

Finally did the infamous climb up the north face. Started at South Fork TH and followed the trail to Dry Lake, then straight up one of the ribs. Snow was complete garbage (soft and powdery) and made things very difficult both up and down. Enjoyed having the summit to ourselves.

Moogie737Vivian Creek Route  Sucess!

Pleasant but long with a nice group of hikers. A couple of dicey parts on the switchbacks above High Creek, some patches of icy snow between 10,500' and the windy summit.
