| Nice and easy leg stretcher for a lead off hike. A little sandsy (who would of thought?) Located at one of the first stops in the park...other than the occassional horse train, not too many people. Linked up with the trail to Emerald Pond/s. | |

| It was pouring rain in the morning. At 10:30 rain stopped so Chris and I drove from Springdale into the park. It began to pour again. Sat in the car for 1.5 hours but the rain continued. Drove back to Springdale, rain stopped, went back to the park. Began to hike at around 2:30 p.m. Fresh snow on the mountains made it very pretty. | |
